Arry’s Roofing Employee Spotlight: Jayson Hansel

Jayson-HanselJayson Hansel, one of the expert sales representatives for Arry’s Roofing, specializes in insurance claim loss/mitigation involving roof replacements. For our customers, proper mitigation can reduce the seriousness of storm and hail damage, decrease insurance costs and increase the resale value of their home. Jayson educates customers about specific roofing features and techniques that are considered adequate mitigation by the state of Florida. He also oversees roof replacements and repairs. “Customer service and follow-up are an integral part of my job,” says Jayson.

For the past five years, Jayson has helped Arry’s to succeed using his greatest strengths: an ability to read people and really listen to what they are saying. He appreciates working for a company that is family-owned and expects the best of all employees.

“Having confidence and a true belief in what you are selling is one of the most important tools a salesman can have. I can be bold when I speak to potential customers because I know that Arry and his family hold this company to the highest of standards,” says Jayson. “Working for a company that is family-owned is very special as they treat us as their own too.”

This emphasis on integrity is also what he feels sets Arry’s Roofing apart from other roofing contractors in St. Petersburg, FL, and greater Tampa. “The Housh family is one of integrity, and they run Arry’s Roofing with that same integrity. This is a rarity in the roofing industry, unfortunately. Excellent customer service is the number one priority at Arry’s Roofing, and is expected companywide.”

Jayson is originally from Columbus, Ohio, and has been married for 17 years to his best friend, Lisa. The couple has five amazing children: Alexys, Jaycob, Gabe, Abby and Zachariah. In his spare time, Jayson enjoys spend time with his family, which also happens to be his proudest accomplishment. “This year I am coaching my son’s football team. I like to ride horses with my daughter, and we all enjoy four-wheeling and spending sunny days on our boat. It’s a busy life and one we love every minute of. We are very blessed!”

Jayson’s favorite sports team is THE Ohio State Buckeyes, and his favorite place to dine out is Mystic Fish. If he could go anywhere for a day, he would be on the Gulf fishing.

When asked what advice he would give others about life, Jayson says: “Be humble in your gifts and know they are blessings from the Lord. And just be kind to people – you never know what they’re going through.”

Thanks, Jayson, for being an important part of the Arry’s Roofing team!
