GAF Roofs for Troops Military Rebate Extended for 2015

In recent years, you may have heard Arry’s Roofing mention the Roofs for Troops program from GAF on our website and social media. We’re pleased to announce that this program has been extended through 2015 for military homeowners nationwide.

The Roofs for Troops rebate is offered to all active U.S. military members, as well as veterans and retirees with a primary residence in the United States, as an expression of gratitude for their service and sacrifice for our country. With the installation of a qualifying GAF roofing system and submission of the required paperwork, the homeowner will receive a $250 rebate by mail. Here are more details.

The current Roofs for Troops promotion is valid from January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015.
All active military, veterans and retirees are eligible.
Homeowner must purchase a new GAF Lifetime Roofing System, which consists of GAF Lifetime Shingles and at least three qualifying GAF accessories.
The Lifetime Roofing System must be installed by a GAF Master Elite™ or a GAF Certified contractor.
To receive the manufacturer rebate, homeowner must complete an online rebate claim form and submit supporting documents within eight weeks of the installation date.

Since the program was introduced in 2012, thousands of military families have taken advantage of this special offer from GAF through their local certified contractor. Latest Arry’s “No Roof Left Behind” Winner Announced

November 1, 2014 is another very special day for Arry’s Roofing Services. It’s the day that we will be installing a new roof for Sandra Hawley of Largo! Sandy is the latest winner in our No Roof Left Behind promotion. Previous winners of a free Arry’s roof include Linda Hunsinger of Saint Petersburg and Cody Hughes of Tampa.

No Roof Left Behind is a national grassroots effort dedicated to helping communities provide assistance to local homeowners who have fallen on hard times. Residents nominate someone that they believe is deserving of a free roof by submitting a story and pictures of the needy roof. The public then votes for the winner, and a local contractor provides the manpower to perform the installation. As a certified No Roof Left Behind installer, Arry’s Roofing is pleased to donate our time and expertise to serve our fellow community members.

Sandy was nominated by her daughter for the No Roof Left Behind program. Currently Sandy is in danger of losing her home on 13^th Avenue Southwest due to lack of homeowner’s insurance – which she does not qualify for because of the poor condition of her roof. She is a three-time cancer survivor, a mother to many, and is currently raising two grandchildren.

Sandy was one of four finalists selected by a committee of volunteers. Voting by local residents took place online from September 20 through October 19, 2014. Matthew Housh, Vice President of Arry’s Roofing, looks forward to assisting in the effort to make Sandy’s home a better place to live. “We’re very happy for Sandy. She has had many challenges yet has always been willing to help others in need. It’s her turn to get a helping hand.”

An Installation Celebration will take place on November 1^st beginning at 8:00AM, when our Largo FL roofers will be on-site to begin the replacement process. This will be family-friendly neighborhood event, and all are welcome to attend! We also welcome the participation of local businesses and community members as sponsors or volunteers. Four Finalists Announced in Arry’s Roofing’s Latest “No Roof Left Behind” Campaign

Arry’s Roofing Services is pleased to announce that four finalists have been selected in our latest No Roof Left Behind campaign. No Roof Left Behind is a nationwide program that is specially designed to help communities organize and rally around a local family in need. This will be the third roof installed by Arry’s Roofing as part of this unique community outreach program, and is valued at between $12,000 and $15,000. Past winners include Linda Hunsinger of Saint Petersburg and Cody Hughes of Tampa.

Tampa Roofers Announce No Roof Left Behind Winner

The latest edition of No Roof Left Behind in Pinellas County has come to the big moment of revealing the winning homeowner. After weeks of voting, our winning entry came from Tampa’s Cody Hughes. The announcement came this morning, April 18, and we’re excited to share the news with every member of the Arry’s Roofing family.

Mr. Hughes was among four finalists selected out of dozens of nominees and his story about needing a dry place to bring baby to from a neonatal intensive care unit in the area moved a lot of people. The Deep Creek Lane resident shared the story on the No Roof Left Behind page as part of his nomination. If you didn’t get a chance to read it, take a moment to do so below.

Two years ago, Citizens said they wouldn’t be renewing my policy. I’ve owned the home for 2.5 years. Cancellation resulted in bank taking out their own policy which costs $500-$600 more per month,for less coverage. We could barely save for the roof due to higher mortgage cost. Then our daughter was born. Unfortunately, she was born with her intestines outside her body(gastroschisis)which required immediate surgery, and currently, she is in her 2nd month stay in the newborn intensive-care unit, covered in sensors&feeding tubes. Her immune system is compromised, and our saved money is gone to hospital bills, which will not be enough to cover 1/4 of it. Final bill projected over $25,000. I cannot bring our poor girl home to this moldy, allergy -filled environment. In addition to patches, there is a 15×15 section that fell though(patched),over her room and the other side of the house will fall soon!

The family won’t have to wait long for the new roof. Arry’s Roofing has scheduled the installation for Saturday May 3 with an 8 am start time. You’re invited, too. Save the Date for the No Roof Left Behind Installation Party

The Saturday following Halloween this year is an important day for Arry’s Roofing and one lucky homeowner in Tampa Bay. November 2 has been set aside at the day for the installation party at the home of Linda Hunsinger of St. Petersburg, the winner of the free roof in the No Roof Left Behind promotion. We’ll be there, and we invite our friends, neighbors, and customers to be a part of a spectacular event.

Saturday of Joy

As part of the celebration, we’re planning some terrific kid-friendly attractions, including a Bounce House. We also plan to serve hot and cold treats, including pizza from Hungry Howie’s and Blue Bell Ice Cream. The promotion has already generated media coverage locally—including a mention in the East Lake Neighborhood News—and we expect to have even more with radio and TV crews joining us that day.

As we get closer to the big day, we’ll have more details to share with you, including the time of the celebration. In the meantime, we ask you to set aside November 2 as a time to join us for this special occasion for Linda and the Arry’s Roofing family.

Linda was among four finalists for the free roof after making the cut down from more than 100 nominees at the beginning of August. The mother of three mentioned explained in her original entry that the roof on her 40-year-old home is falling apart and lost a lot of shingles in last year’s tropical storms. Soon that issue will be history, and we enjoyed reading her reaction to being named the winner.
