After nearly a week of sunshine and a brilliant weekend, rain could return to Tampa Bay starting today. “Now we’re in a more progressive weather pattern for a couple of days,” Bay News 9 meteorologist Josh Linker said.
According to the experts, severe weather is very likely this season, affecting even other areas outside Florida.
Across the country, severe weather downed trees and produced tornadoes in the plains states Sunday night. More severe weather and even tornadoes are possible as a mass of warm air moves through the plains today, and a cold front further west could produce a wild swing in temperatures that will mean up to 10 inches of snow in Denver.
