Arry’s Roofing Velux Skylight

The great winter storm of 2103 that buried much of the Northeast was far from reaching us here in Tampa, although its impact could be felt by anyone in Tampa whose flight to cities such as Boston was canceled due to the blizzard. Luckily for us, our worries about weather are relatively minor at this time of year, and our warm temperatures and abundance of sunshine should be something we take advantage of. An Arry’s Roofing Velux Skylight is one way to do just that.

We just added a short video to our website page for skylights to help us introduce the Arry’s Roofing Velux Skylight with a Solar Powered Blind to our friends and neighbors in Tampa Bay. You can find us by hovering over “Roofing” then clicking on “Skylights” below. Sean Drake of Arry’s Roofing hosts the video and shares some of the benefits of this particular skylight.

Increased natural light inside your home and reduced energy costs are a couple of the immediate benefits of installing skylights. But this particular skylight, as Sean explains, go much further. The blind is actually solar powered, giving your home the maximum amount of light when the sun is shining on Tampa. The blinds themselves come in a variety of colors and styles to suit your personal preferences too.

Sean touches briefly on some other advantages. One of them is a 20 year NDL (No Dollar Limited) Warranty. Another advantage is the 30% federal tax credit. Like all benefits of products installed by Arry’s Roofing, you can learn full details during our initial inspection and estimate, offered at no cost to you.

Keep in mind, in order to earn the tax credit you’ll want to have the necessary items at the time of installation. Save your receipts for total price paid, including the product and its installation, for one of any qualifying VELUX product and attach them to a completed 30% Federal Tax Credit – Manufacturers Certification Statement. At tax time in 2014, fill out IRS Tax form 5695 and submit it with your taxes. 5695 is the Residential Energy Credits Form.
